Replace single-use dryer sheets with homemade wool dryer balls to reduce static and soften clothes naturally.

What You Need: 100% wool yarn, an old sock, and a washer/dryer.

How to Make: Wrap yarn tightly into a ball, place it inside an old sock, and secure the end. Wash in hot water and dry to felt the wool.

What You Need:

100% wool yarn (Wool Yarn for Dryer Balls)

• Old sock or pantyhose

• Washer and dryer

Steps:

1. Wrap yarn tightly into a ball about the size of a tennis ball.

2. Place the ball inside a sock or pantyhose and tie the end securely.

3. Wash in hot water with a load of laundry to felt the wool.

4. Dry on high heat to complete the felting process.

5. Remove from the sock and use in the dryer to soften clothes naturally.
